Logistic and Motor Pool Officer

K84 CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT IS LOOKING FOR LOGISTIC AND MOTORPOOL OFFICER

-DIRECT HIRE-

1. Fleet / Motor pool Management
•Supervise daily operations of the motor pool and company drivers
•Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and in good running condition
•Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and mileage
•Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs
•Maintain updated records of vehicle registration, insurance, and permits

2. Logistics Coordination

•Plan and coordinate transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel
•Ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods to project sites or clients
•Optimize routes and scheduling to reduce cost and improve efficiency
•Coordinate with warehouse and project teams for delivery requirements

3. Driver Supervision

•Assign drivers and monitor attendance, performance, and discipline
•Ensure drivers follow company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations
•Conduct regular toolbox meetings or safety briefings
•Evaluate driver performance and recommend training if needed

4. Documentation and Reporting

•Maintain logs of vehicle usage, trip tickets, fuel issuance, and repairs
•Prepare regular reports on fleet status, costs, and logistics performance
•Monitor and control transportation-related expenses

5. Safety and Compliance

•Ensure compliance with government regulations and company safety standards
•Investigate accidents or vehicle incidents and prepare reports
•Implement safety programs and preventive measures

6. Inventory and Asset Control

•Monitor tools, spare parts, and fuel inventory
•Ensure proper issuance and control of motor pool supplies
