Position Overview
Dhillon Law Group is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 3–4 years of litigation experience to join its expanding national litigation practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling commercial litigation matters, drafting substantive motions, managing discovery, appearing in state and/or federal courts, and supporting complex litigation from inception through trial.
This role provides significant courtroom exposure, strategic case involvement, and opportunities to work on sophisticated commercial, regulatory, constitutional, and public law matters.
Key Responsibilities
Handle complex commercial and corporate litigation matters
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
Draft and argue dispositive motions in state and federal courts
Handle contract disputes and business tort litigation
Assist with partnership, shareholder, fiduciary duty, and corporate governance disputes
Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations
Support all phases of litigation through trial
Support regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings
Analyze federal and state statutes, regulations, and agency rules
Prepare administrative filings and agency responses
Draft writ petitions challenging governmental or administrative actions
Communicate with government agencies and regulators
Assist with administrative hearings and related proceedings
Independently manage assigned litigation matters
Conduct written discovery
Draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
Manage document review and productions
Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis
Draft substantive legal memoranda
Prepare witnesses and exhibits
Participate in depositions
Attend hearings and mediations
Assist with trial preparation and overall litigation strategy
Manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active State Bar membership (any U.S. jurisdiction)
3–4 years of litigation experience
Experience handling litigation in state and/or federal court
Experience drafting dispositive motions
Discovery management experience
Strong legal research and writing abilities
Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills
Ability to independently manage multiple litigation matters
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
California Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly)
Experience with expedited proceedings
