Flight operations began in January 2003 with Bombardier Dash 8-100 aircraft, supporting the growth and regional presence of partner carrier Caribbean Star Airlines. Following a brief suspension of operations in 2007, the company was acquired by aviation industry veteran Mr. Tomas Romero and reintroduced under a new vision and brand as World Atlantic Airlines. With a modernized operating model and a fleet centered on the McDonnell Douglas MD-83, the airline successfully completed an extensive re-certification process and was granted a new Air Carrier Certificate in September 2010 as a 14 CFR Part 121 Supplemental Air Carrier. Today, World Atlantic Airlines is driven by a simple but powerful philosophy: to lead in every market we serve by delivering reliable, safe, and customer-focused air transportation.
